Award winning Insel-Brauerei Surfer's Summer Ale is a fruity summer ale, though definitely drinkable all year round. It pours a deep and opaque amber with a white and solid foam crown. On the nose is cereals, lemon and a smidge of passionfruit. The mouth feel is soft and creamy with a medium body and dry finish. On the palate there is some summer fruit but its plummier and less citrusy than in the aroma. Well balanced with a bitterness that grows but doesn't dominate.
