This syrup is a translucent colour with a sweet, bitter orange peel aroma. The taste is reminiscent of alcoholic triple-sec, but without the alcohol of course.
These syrups are high in sweetness and flavor - so need to be diluted to suit your taste (generally 1 part 1883 syrup to 8 or 9 parts other beverage).
